Artist Studio and workshops at Fleurtys
Ruth Hadlow - Artist workshop in the Art Distillery
March 5 - 6 2011
Recording the Moment – expressive and creative possibilities of journals.
A weekend workshop with Ruth Hadlow.
Workshop
This workshop will explore the creative territory of notebooks, diaries and journals. Many artists and writers have kept visual and/or written journals which have been a vehicle for exploring ideas and recording experiences. Alongside this, the field of artists’ books also offers interesting approaches and possibilities, and then there are artworks which function as diaries or notebooks. We will consider a diverse range of examples and examine the conventions and strategies used by their makers.
Tutor
